I had the strangest dream last night
I had angel wings and I took flight
I flew up, up, up, I flew so far
I flew up to heaven where you are

There you were all dressed in white
And everything was pure and bright
You looked happy, you looked satisfied
You held me in your arms and I cried

I felt just like no time had passed
But I knew the feeling couldn’t last
I told you that I loved you so
And that I didn’t want to let you go. I cried:

You smiled at me, then I woke up
But I didn’t want the dream to stop
I closed my eyes, tried to sleep but then
