I have to start with saying that I really want to apologize for not updating this blog in ages, real life have been kicking my ass with work, work and more work and I haven't played in Second Life much at all really, just special events like benefits and commercial stuff.

In october I have 2 shows planned as it looks now, on the 14th at The Sands, 12pm SL time, kl 21.00 CET and on the 28th at Aglarond (Halloween party, yay!), 12.30pm, kl 21.30 CET.

A couple of more shows might be added and I'll notify you in that case. Thanks for sticking around and reading even if I suck at updating properly.

Love

Natalie/Therese

Tonight is the openingevent for HSB in Second Life. They have built a huuuuge skyscraper and got themselves a sim in SL.  Read more here about the competition they're having and such. (In swedish)

The event starts at 10am SL time, kl 19.00 CET, with speeches and such. After that swedish standup comedian Magnus Betnér, will do a comedy set. Efter that Natalie Moody aka. Therese Åhs aka. ME, will sing and play for an hour and after me DJ Cari Lekebusch or Mantis Oh as he's called in SL, will do a DJ set promised to be house with a cosy, warm feel to it.

I look forward to tonight and think it will be great. Use to get there http://slurl.com/secondlife/Second%20Sweden%204/110/137/25

I'm playing at the Second Life benefit for NSPCC tonight. I'll be playing at 12pm SL time, kl 21.00 CET. Read below or check out THIS for more info about NSPCC

"The NSPCC is the UK's leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children. It is the only children's charity with statutory powers, enabling it to act to safeguard children.
Charity Registration No 216401 "

"If you're a Secondlife resident (see www.secondlife.com for more information) you can contact "NSPCC Miles" in game and donate as much Lindens ($L) to Miles as you can afford.  At the end of the year all Lindens (L$) will be converted to USD/GBP and then given to NSPCC in GBP.  So far "NSPCC Miles" has collected a total of L$18,300 (there are about L$250.00 - L$300.00 to every US Dollar).  Thank you to my Secondlife friends!"

Secondlife Event:

14 Sept 2007 at 12 PM PDT (8 PM BST – UK time)

Paul Talik (aka Rocko Fallon in Secondlife) will be hosting a major NSPCC charity event.  The event is set to start on 14 Sept 2007 at 12 noon PDT (8 PM UK time) and will be a 24 hour event.  The event will take place over several locations within Secondlife such as:  THEclub Sundance, THEhood, and the River of Venus.

Some of the highlights of the event will include:

1. Live performances from unbelievable artists such as Natalie Moody (from Sweden), and Kelvinblue.oh, and many others.

2. An Auction where generous residents and corporations have donated excellent products for us to auction off and have the proceeds go to NSPCC.   The Auction will be run by the beautiful Absolut Smirnov (from the UK)

3. Live DJ’s streaming your favourite tunes

4. Resident competitions where residents could win fantastic items donated by other generous residents and corporations.

Rocko Fallon has created replica NSPCC collection tins for the collection of donations from residents in Secondlife.  These are very special collection tins.  Residents make payments to the collection tins and the amount donated is transferred to NSPCC Miles seamlessly.  The collection tins have been released into Secondlife and are distributed FREE.  Residents can copy and give away the tins to other residents FREELY.  The collection tins have also been released into a vendor network (see www.apez.biz for more information on the vendor network).  It doesn’t mater where the collection tins have been distributed; all payments to any of them will be transferred to NSPCC miles.   Every collection tin has an information card that tells the residents how the tins work and gives detailed information about NSPCC and why we’re raising money for this worthy charity.

For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to make dual accounts on Myspace and Facebook, one for the real life me and one for the virtual me, but to be honest, it's alot to keep track of. So... If you're looking to add me on Facebook, it's best if you search for Therese Åhs, same on Myspace, or you can go to http://www.myspace.com/tereseah

Just wanted to clear that out Smile

Höstsagan Print E-mail

This saturday I performed at a festival event in Växjö called Höstsagan. I was brought there by Nätverket SIP who helped arrange the event. Pictures from that can be found at: Picasa, Höstsagan

We were a bit unlucky with the weather so it wasn't as big of a turnout as one might hope but it was still a fun experience and I'm glad I went. I also helped out a bit the the tent that SIP had and played a bit when people passed by. It's strange though, I felt all shy sitting there in the tent playing. It was easier to be up on stage... Isn't that kinda strange?
